Just a heads up to all the wet shavers out there. Walgreens have this Pinaud aftershave on sale for $5.79....
It is the least expensive i have seen and Walgreens will match there online prices at any store.

I really like my Clubman Pinaud Reserve After Shave Gent's Gin.
Can someone report on the new ones?

At first I didn't know what to make of Gent's Gin. All I detected was pencil shavings. Then I transferred it to a glass hot sauce bottle and the the lime and juniper berry came out. I like it, but I am not sure if I love it. Citrus Musk leaves me the same way: I like it but not sure that I love it.

Starting to run out of VIBR, so I decided to try to pick something up for the winter months.  Wanted to try Cognac Neat but couldn't find it locally, or in a trial size even on line.  So, I went with Brandy Spice.  Starts out boozy/apple scent.  That fades quickly to something that for me is vanilla and musk.  Somewhat similar to a bay rum without cloves.  I like it a lot.

A quick note: I was in a local CVS yesterday and surprise, surprise-they had Clubman Classic on the shelf!

I haven't seen Clubman in a CVS or Wallgreens in over two years. I should have bought some even though I don't need it.

Is this something new? What about in your neighborhood?

Sorry, didn't get a picture.

I wish they’d put their aftershave back into glass bottles. I wish I’d kept the glass bottle of Lilac Vegetal I had 45 years ago.  But as they say, if wishes were horses then beggars would ride.

I do not consider myself to be one of the Lillac Vegetal Chosen, but I was amazed at how much better The Veg was when decanted into a glass bottle from my local Hobby Lobby store.

Clubman improves a little in glass, but nothing like The Veg.
