Damn! Looking through the pics brings on the eyes getting blurry.

This is a picture of Mr. Blue a Cane Corso. We got him because his breed was the predecessor of the Rottweilers, a breed we dearly love. Cane Corsos don't die of cancer as Rotties do. So Mr. Blue died of cancer, precisely what we didn't want. Very painful memories, great companions and smart. Mr. Blue would hide from my wife in the forest (behind a tree and in plain sight). He learned that from me. Here he is chasing me on the ATV. Even our friends mourned when he passed, he was unforgettable.

Shadow when he was a pup. He's purebred AmStaff. He's pure Dads dog.

And his "Mom" (just an adopted sister in reality), Star. She's a terrier of some mix.

Both Shadow and Star are rescued dogs, he from the AmStaff rescue organization, Star from the dog pound. Fantastic dogs. Just not Mr. Blue and we try to never compare them. But all of our Rotties and Mr. Blue had fantastic personalities. They were our children. If you have never had a really intelligent dog, one that could think and reason, you simply don't know. Wow, it still hurts.

Love all the pics so far.

This is Toby napping on our bed. He prefers sleeping with his head elevate on a pillow. Even if the "pillow" is our footboard.

This is Ada:

She's a bit of a goofball.

Adopted her earlier this year, she was about a year old at the time and had already just finished weaning a litter. Lab mix is all they said, a common pastime of ours is trying to guess what she's mixed with.
