When I first started DE shaving 4 years ago, one of the first blades I tried is pictured below. I got them at Sally's and they were maybe 2.50/pack. Today, after not using one in years and wanting something different, I threw one in and was very impressed, again. I want to buy these in bulk. Any idea what blade it is? Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm not an expert, but those look like Personna lab blue blades.

West Coast Shaving has your pack for $2 and 100 for $17, although the packaging looks different than mine. Amazon has the 100 pack with the same packaging I have for $14.

I got 5 loose blades that looked like these with my Blackbird razor. Very good blades and no glue spots.

Thank you. I'll give them a spin.

I bought some Israeli Reds to see it was those. Man do I hate that blade.

EDIT: do the lab blue in bulk packaging have glue dots?

Dang! I bet I have a couple of those packs around here somewhere. Probably still in the boxes. Thanks for the reminder.

No glue spots is a huge plus. The glue requires more forceful cleaning proceedures. Than I like. I'm very close to getting away from Feather for this reason. I will be a couple steps closer if I can nail these Personnas down.

No. No glue. Although the outside wrapper is sealed with a small dab of something. You can see where the wrapper tore when I opened it. No glue on the blade though.

I'd be happy to post some to you if you PM me your address.[Image: 028131dd8d6fefbf9ff096e7920f175d.jpg]

LOOT, I bought those same blades from Connaught Shaving a few years ago, but I just checked, and they don’t have them in stock anymore.

They are nice blades. Probably the same as Personna Supers (Lab Blue), though the branding is a little different – since the ones in the white dispenser only have the arrows and no logo. I’ve used both, and they are so similar that they are the same blade, most likely.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Check where they are manufactured.

If they were made in the US the are probably the lab blues. If they are made in Israel they aren't. I still find the Israeli made ones as store brands from time to time.

To make it more complicated 'Personna' is no longer 1 company. Edgewell bought out the Israeli manufacturing and is in the process of moving that production line to their German locations. The US side of things stayed out of that deal and they are still producing blades.
