It is easier than it sounds, and you can do all kinds of shipping through this. Cheapest is 2.61, u can do international, APO, padded flat rate and everything else.
This. And it gives you the option to choose First Class, Priority, or even ground shipping (for aftershaves). And tracking is always on by default at no extra cost.

This is all that I use. Print the labels at home, recycle/repurpose boxes that I already have, drop them off at a parcel chute at the local post office.

Since learning about this I haven't been to the post office at all. It works great! Thanks for the heads up!

This afternoon, I navigated my way into Paypal. and...it worked. Yea. Three packages ready to go out tomorrow. And NO trip to the post office.

Thanks for re-opening the thread. This is a huge help as I look to start shipping a few things in the future and avoid the hassle at the PO.

This is the way you have to do it unless the buyer provides their shipping address with their payment in PayPal. If they do give you the address, there will be a link provided to print the label.

Very good point.

It’s always good to make sure that anyone using PayPal (including yourself) has the correct address in their system. It makes the B/S/T transactions quick and easy when you can pay for and print the label right then and there.
(Assuming there are no issues with the printer, which I’ve been having as of late…)

I just made a 2018 new year's resolution:

Will only accept G&S paypal payment from now on. The hassle of copying and pasting address (u may call it first world problem) is too much!!

I like that idea! Well, and the policy here on DFS is to follow PayPal’s policy, which means that if it’s truly not someone who’s “friends & family,” then the payment should always be made using the “goods & services” option.

As a seller, I’ve been in the situation where someone went ahead and used the “friends & family” option, perhaps thinking they were doing me a favor. I would rather have paid PayPal’s small fee (and had protection for the transaction) than spend the next 30 minutes hunting down and entering the person’s address…

Just do “goods & services,” friends. Makes it easier to buy and print your labels, keeps PayPal running, and gives your transaction protection.

I will explicitly mention G&S only from now on and refund anyone paying F&F.

I did find one small glitch in the Paypal shipping. I use Regional Rate Box A boxes because they are less expensive. That box is missing from Paypal, so I went back to the USPS site which has them. It saves a few bucks which helps me keep shipping expenses down for the customer since the customer pays only what it costs me to ship, or I endevour to make that so. The program doesn't always work that way but it's generally within a dollar or 2 of cost.
