Got this one about a month ago and have used it quite a bit. The company blurb on the razor is that this one has a new head design and comes in 3 different finishes. I chose the graphite and it's a fine looking razor. And the new head design is a dandy. Covers the blade completely thus eliminating the possibility of nicking yourself with the blade tabs. So here goes -

Price - At $26.00, I thought it reasonable
Quality - Wonderful. I have noticed no flaws in the finish or blade alignment
Grip - Top notch. The handle has a great feel and is the best I've run across so far
Balance - Quite good and easy to find the balance point
Blade Replacement - It's a 3 piece, you know the drill
Aggressiveness - Subjective of course but I'd give it a 8/10 but comfortably so

Bottom Line - I find this one to be an extremely comfortable, effective razor. I tried several different blades, soap/creams with equally great results. This one's a winner.

Muhle and Parker have never been on my radar.

Am I missing out on anything?

I must admit to being somewhat of a Parker fan.  I have a Variant, 94r and 87r plus the 78r mentioned in the previous post.  All are well made and shave very nicely.  However, for me, the 78r is a step above the rest.  It really is a fine piece of equipment.

I'd like to read something about shaving experience.
And specs ...

Not sure if the handle is so thin.
Can't understand if the head cover the blade on side.
For sure, I do not figure how a 8/10 on effectiveness (aggressive) can be smooth.

BTW, I love the pics on site.

I got it when it first came out, thought it might be nice for the wife. She likes mild DE's for her legs. Targeted I believe as a unisex / beginner razor. I tried it once to ensure it was safe for her. She knows what she is doing. I had to be sure it was not a erratic or nick maker razor. Handle was way to thin for both of us. Luckily as lifelong rad-ohalic I have a ton.
I remember it is a good mild shaver. I should of slapped a feather in it. But used my second sharpest BIC blade. For my quick take, safe and good for a beginner or a daily shaver with thin to med stubble. Wife uses it (with a 3.5 stainless handle - think is a RR one) , the parker is in her rotation ( no clue when she got that from,,lol) .. Parker makes good zamaks razors, just wish they did a few full stainless steel heads. That is wrap...Cheers BFX....Shave'em if you got'em...
