Paradigm Shaveware The Diamondback

First we have to assume that Paradigm and WCS got into this venture to sell razors and not to piss customers off. I am absolutely sure that if WCS had the razors in hand, they would not hold on to them and tell the rest of us that they are waiting for them from Paradigm. I am not sure if Paradigm manufactures their own razors or if they source the job out to others. If they source them out to someone else, there could be a problem there. I remember recently that Blackland (who sources out production) had a problem with one of their sources with failed machinery and so these things do happen. Bottom line is that often times, folks with the best intention can have things go wrong along the way and especially with a limited production razor than has never been produced in quantity before. Look at the original Rockwell 6s and the Model T.

As far as I'm concerned, I signed up for a pre order and I expect this kind of stuff to happen, so just shave with your other razor for now as Zhang Doe said.

For those of you who do eventually receive the Diamondback, it would be nice to hear reviews. Thanks.

Has anyone else received theirs yet? I had mine but sent it to Andy at Paradigm to repolish. He is about to ship mine back to me this week. I just wonder if anyone else has received theirs from WCS.

I wonder how this fiasco happened? When Andy ran the show it seemed to be ok. He made very small runs - maybe 200 razors at a time. Farmed out all the work to machine shops. Wonder if he made any money or it is just a hobby to break even. Did WCS run production this time around?
