On the unobtainium thing. It sucks all around, for the market and the maker. There will be further releases, but we aim to keep successful razors in production, and everybody is happy. Stuff will still hopefully sell out, but going six and eight months between razor drops is nuts.

As for aggressive razors, I'm fond of them myself. Let's say efficient, anyway. Cem loaned me his Wolfman 1.55, and I loved it. That sucker is dual comb, and I had no trouble even with the OC side. Shaved with it for six days straight, including using a Feather. You really know there's a blade in there, though.

Not everyone wants/needs an aggressive razor. We're definitely going to create multiple designs, using various materials to please almost everyone! I hope at one point we can have a sub $50 razor and $$$ Ti razors and many razors in between.

I totally agree with you about the 1.55. Hope you make razors that are like that. Very efficient and yet smooth.

Yes something for everyone. But getting the razors made in a timely fashion is important

Ok, here goes:

3/30: Andy announces the re-release of the DB in a dedicated DFS thread, promising some positive reviews on the way
4/4: 1st glowing review is posted
4/9: 2nd glowing review posted
4/10: 3rd glowing review posted
4/14: 4th glowing review posted
4/15-20: Ok, you get the picture....several more glowing reviews
4/21: Andy posts to the DB2020 thread, “Anybody that wants a razor, I just posted a bunch on my website. There will be more, too, just polishing them.”
4/22-5/4: More positive reviews and discussion takes place
5/5: The last recorded occurrence (in the thread) of someone taking delivery of a new DB2020

Call it a one month window....or a solid 3+ weeks after the positive reviews started rolling in.
