Paradigm Salient Test Drive

Salient arrived, in special request brushed satin finish. Andy did a terrific job in the finish. Wonderful shave and surprisingly efficient. First shave in the books. Slight irritation on the neck due to deceptively efficiency and very low blade feel. Mike is spot on, very close to my Wr1 .80Dc. Looking forward to more comparison shaves versus my other razors. If I had to compare it to a Karve CB, its like a Karve D-E in efficiency, smoothness is like C plate.

Hi Marius, I’m glad you got yours so quickly.  I would say your Karve CB comparison is very accurate.  

It is smooth but efficient.  Two days growth almost at DFS with one WTG pass for me.

I can definitely see where your skin situation would really narrow down your razors of choice.  
 What razors are working out for you good as daily shavers?

Lambda Athena, Chiseled Face Ti, BB Ti Lite, Karve Overlander, RS-10, Diamondback 2020, WR1 ,54, Rockwell 6S plate 5, Carbon CX -Ti + and ++ plates and a few others. 

I really think for some this will be a great razor - it’s just a little too much for my skin.

dtownvino these are some pretty sub par razors. Have you thought about upgrading your hardware?

I have an extra BB Ti with both the standard and lite plate and an extra CF Ti imperial handle - happy to sell you both.

Plus an Al Overlander with a 3.5” handle. Might be a little light for head shaving…

Drama free shave! I went slower today and I got rewarded with a BBS+ shave. Excellent razor. I found the right blade combo with the Nacet.
