Yes

I agree with you. I have the first run of the Salient, the sandblasted finish, and the polished one, they shave different. The first is more efficient and smoother, while the polished is more rough (not necessarily more aggressive, just rough somehow).

Ti Diamondback won't shave like the 2020 Diamondback in stainless steel for sure. Think to the 17-4 and Ti2 productions. Same specifications, but definitely and completely different way of shaves, so much to be two different razors (17-4 quite aggressive and good efficiency, Ti2 mild and not effective enough in my experience).

I had a 17-4 until last year. I have a Ti2 and a 2019 diamondback currently and I can say without a doubt, the Salient in Satin is actually a better shaver than everything I have listed here.  For 99 dollars, it’s a steal!

Absolutely the Salient shaves way better, it's more efficient than the two we mentioned for me too.

Everyone who wants one should have the opportunity to buy one, and hopefully he will make several runs.
No need for me to be greedy and wish people disappointments, that's just not nice.

I don't care, at the same time I am sorry for being such rough. They had the time to make the decision. I don't agree with this new trend of producing thousands of razors, I prefer limited runs, who was in is in, who was out is out, it's a part of this game for me. Again there was the time necessary to buy.

Unfortunately for you, it's not all about you  Big Grin Why should the maker restrict himself from more income just to do things your preferred way ? And for the record I was one of the first to pull the trigger on buying one.

Wishing for scarcity to bump up the value of their razor.
Bit desperate, wot!

I never gave suggestions. I just prefer limited products, so that's my wish.

Surely not my wishing. I find ridiculous who sell for profits, sorry.

An artisan will never be profitable with limited runs on a 350 dollar Ti razor.  I know the numbers well enough.  I don’t want anyone to go out of business who designs a good product and tries to bring us something we want.

Teledus might be fine with 100 pieces at 1000 dollars but that is a different game, it’s SS.
