I emailed Andrew and he said there will be more. He did not say when though. I hope to get one when he releases more.
Happy shaves

Vendor releases razor, razor is good, razor becomes a hit, everyone loves it, can’t buy it.

Darn. I least I save money because is not available.

I would really love to purchase this in the future if it’s made out of titanium.

The Ti Javelin is Paradigm's next razor, don't think the DB will get the Ti treatment.

That’s unfortunate if true.

I shimmed Diamondback with two used blades. I cut the sharp edges of the blades, each blade has 0.08 - 0.1 mm thickness.
Finally, I had around 0.95 to 1.00 mm blade gap. Had 1.5 day growth and got two pass shave (WTG - ATG).
Efficiency became very similar to WR2 1.55 and Ikon Tech.
Blade feeling increased considerably. Totally different razor.
But the razor was still pretty smooth when I used shallow angle.
I highly recommend Paradigm to have one future release with high blade gap around 1 mm.

Yep, have done the same with fine result.

Ditto as the shims bring the DB efficiency on par with WR2 145-155. Even with the slight reduction in smoothness the shimmed Diamondback is top of the crowd in smoothness and the shave remains super comfortable. It’s a no brainer to make a more efficient higher gapped Paradigm ... maybe Titanium as Andrew knows how to make Titanium razors

I am pretty sure I increased the exposure on mine when giving my top cap a mirror finish. You can see my earlier pictures. I enjoyed the razor more afterward. That much is certain. I have wondered if the shiny razor made me like it more because it is prettier, or if the wonderful reviews made me pay more attention, or if the added exposure gave me a better shave. I like to think it is not one of the first two.

As I said, I think I did increase exposure by removing a good bit of material off of the top cap getting past the machine marks. I might have increased steepness (and exposure) taking a little off the blade guard ( I shave somewhat steep so the blade guard sets the angle for me). This probably even reduced guard span if anything.

The one thing I know I did not change is gap. This is certain-
If I removed anything from the blade guard it was the leading edge and not the top of the guard. Adding shims will increase gap, steepness angle, and exposure (which of the 3 helped you? Did any of these 3 hurt?). I got some improvement with exposure for sure, steepness maybe, and for sure not gap. Something to think about.

I think the only thing all of these observations are telling us collectively is that there is potentially some room for added aggressiveness/efficiency, especially if tempered by lighter material. There are a few ways to do it not even listed above.

Probably, his new Ti razor will be sold-out instantly.
I tried Javelin, Ti-1 and 17-4. New Javelin head is as efficient as Ti-1, and as smooth as 17-4.
If he is going to make limited number of razors, I think his brand popularity will be even more than Wolfman.
Let's see...

I’ve seen a lot of great reviews about Diamondback 2020, sounds like it hits the right balance between efficiency and smoothness.
A couple of questions for Paradigm Shaveware ...
Are you planning to manufacture and release more of these razors in the near future?
If so, will it be possible to purchase on the site and have it shipped outside the US? (I saw some mention that with the previous batch, at least initially, the razor could only be shipped to CONUS....?)
Thank you!
