We'll a medium flat rate box with priority shipping is already pushing $14. That does not count having to wait at a nyc post office and the effort that takes.... So $19 is not too terrible.

The tubs are quite heavy so shipping by weight wouldn't be cheaper...

One can eliminate shipping by ordering more jars.

Another option would be to call the store and maybe they will ship to you themselves....
