Seems like a lot of these brushes end up re-selling in BST more than usual. Are people not happy with there performance?

One possible reason is that Ken has done such a good job of pushing out new stock that it has allowed people to be picky. With his knot notes, it’s easy to see that a different knot code might suit your preferences better, and the new handle colors seem to be popular.

Exactly what Watson said... I have had quite a few Paladin's and I have never sold one due to lack of performance, just wanted a different handle shape or rod stock color, nothing more.

I have sold two Paladins and kept two. I wanted to finance other non-Paladin purchases.

I want to mirror this post.

I recently acquired a beautiful Moe in Vesuvius.  And it was perfection.  Sadly the handle was a bit larger than what my fingers and hand prefer.  And the buyer was thrilled to get it. So a win-win.

For the record, I have three four other Paladins.  Finish, performance, appearance are unparalleled.  Some time ago I let a Lotus go because the handle shape didn't resonate with me.  Certainly nothing at fault with the brush.

And replaced it with  PK-47 which suits me very well.  Makes me want a PK47 in vesuvius.  LOL

The PK-47 is my favorite Paladin handle.

Regardless of who makes the brush, I think brush buyers have certain expectations. If those expectations aren't met (for whatever reason), that brush may end up for sale.
At least that's how I handle my brush purchases. I've owned about 10 Paladin brushes, and I've kept 5. I sold all the Paladins with Lee's (M&F) knots since I very much prefer the knots Ken is using in his brushes now.
As to Simpson brushes, I've sold them all (or attempted to). I only have one left, a CH3 which I had tried to sell but the market was flooded and nobody was interested. It sits in the box, not being used.

I own a single Paladin, a Somerset Sherlock, that I love. Sometimes I see handles I like better, but I don't want to trade it out as I love the knot and am concerned I may not like another as much. I'm resigned to buying another Paladin someday. I like it as much as my other badgers, including M&F, Declaration, Simpson, Rudy Vey and Elite, all of which are extremely high performers.

I am contemplating on getting a Cleo with a 26mm 2CSLE4 knot. Just reluctant as I have a 2-band Thater I purchased and not a big fan of. Larger hog and flow thru is not very good.
I read the knot code description and was wondering if anyone has this knot and could describe its performance to me?
