Sin was released (I'm guessing) about a year or so ago as an alcohol-free splash.  This one is new and contains alcohol.

Not correct either. The alcohol version is not new. I had it in my cart for a couple weeks thinking of buying it. It was created because his friend Tim Blem asked him to make his aftershave cologne without a scent because he loved the performacne and wanted to be able to wear it with any scent. The story is on the description.

I have never seen a Sin version without alcohol, and don't see one now. It's always been an aftershave cologne and shows up on page 4 every time I look at the aftershaves.

Correction. I forgot there is a non alcohol scent free aftershave tonic called Scentless. I was thinking of the Sin name, which is only alcohol based aftershave cologne.

And there is the accuracy of the supporting commentary that is so pervasive when discussing PAA products... BoarderPhreak has all the inside scoops and is priivy to all the "supporting commentary", yet doesn't even get the basic premise to his arguments correct...

BoarderPhreak :
Quote:Yes, we get it. You're a big PAA fan. And that's your prerogative. Let's not drag this issue out another page.

If by "big PAA fan" you mean someone that owns exactly 1 soap and 1 splash, then sure...a big fan...

Okay, gentlemen, once again some of you are treading too close to what has already shuttered too many threads.  Let's back off.  Either buy one of the products, or both, or just walk away.  Please post your thoughts on the product(s) if or when you get them.  Most have already made up their minds on the "other" issue.  Enough on that subject, please; it is exhausting.

Oh, okay. Like I said, I was guessing a bit. His description on FB says, "Granted I do make a Fragrance Free/ Alcohol Free Tonic and had thought of a scentless AS..." so maybe I was thinking of that; Scentsless Aftershave Tonic.

Actually there is a scent free alcohol free aftershave tonic called Scentless. I know that one too though it slipped my mind, but it's not called Sin. It has been available for a long time too. It has a review posted from Aug 8th 2015, so at least a year.

Wow , I wonder if any keen wet shavers in Aleppo are keeping up with these shocking developments Smile I could be wrong but I thought PAA and B&M collaborated on a aftershave or an aftershave and soap combo for a shave meet up recently?

Now, where were we? Ah, yes: PAA

So, to those of you who are fans, what version and scents of PAA shaving soaps would you recommend to a self proclaimed shaving soap nut(ME) who really likes woody, natural, or floral scents? I'm not a huge fan of food scents generally, but fruity scents are OK. Keep in mind that I have tons of other soaps, but have yet to try PAA, so I'm mainly looking for the best performing PAA soap base/formula as well.

Have a try of Gondolier, it's a lovely light sweet woody scent in my book with a hint of warm floral.
