I just picked up an OUMO S1 a month back - 28mm knot with a 57mm loft. One thing i did notice was the weight of the handles. Oumo's handles are quite heavy and I do wish they disclosed the weight on their page!

Here mine.
I love it. Very efficient.
Really close to a good Finest.

This must be the “Imperial Emperor” of all knots…. $615.50 USD for a 29mm Fan/Bulb EX-grade

Visually, the Origin looks better than anything I've seen in years, and is quite interesting to me. Much better than the Meri knot they introduced. Looks better than Varlet, Declaration, Wiborg, Simpson, Plisson, Shavemac, and anything else out there. One will never know what it's like in use until that's done. There are some hair grades that I remember reading about that fit the details that are talked about having to go through the work for this. Rooney Finest was one that required more sorting, but not to this degree. There was someone else that posted many details of quite remarkable brushes from his collection. I believe he was on The Shave Nook though, and that information would be lost to us now. I'd take this over a Plisson 20 HMW at the moment, that's for sure. Cheaper to boot.
