omnishaver

has anyone else used one before?

I picked up one of their disposable classic omnishaver's just to give it a try for a little while before committing to their more expensive razor kit with blades that can be replaced. I've got 3-4 head shaves on mine so far and it's pretty decent. it's fast, for sure, though I think I'd prefer using one with less than 5 blades as the skin on my head tends to be sensitive. something else I'd add to the razor is some sort of handle as holding onto the body of the omnishaver can get a little slick if your hands get wet.

the razor has 2 sets of blades, each head is facing a different direction, so on each back/forth stroke, you're shaving whatever area you're trying to shave. they also claim that it self strops the blades during use, thus prolonging the blade's edges.

for $15 (I got the pink one) and a few bucks for shipping, it was worth trying it out!

I'm cheap (er, frugal!), buddy. lol

I’ve been using one for about 4-5 months now. It’s not a bad kit to be honest. If one wants to get a quick head shave in, the Omnishaver gets it done in under a minute if your pressed for time. Self stropping while shaving and it rinses out fairly easily. I just installed a new set of blades after about 15-20 shaves on the first set. Not bad at all.

I agree that I wish it had some sort of handle for better grip and 2-3 blades in the cartridge would have been ideal but, I only head shave 2-3 times a week and use my Mamba .70 at least once for those shaves. Still, I think it’s worth having for a no brainer head shave when your time is limited. Price isn’t to bad either for the Premium kit. $36 I believe is what I paid with 6 extra cartridges and change out tool....

I've used my omnishaver a few more times since initially creating this post. close shaves but probably a little too aggressive for my head. if they reduced the amount of blades in the razor, it'd probably be more ideal for me as it's not very forgiven, as-is.

honestly i do like the onishaver, its a very good for a quick shave but not good for around the earis for trying to cut a straight beard line as in the side burn, otherwise its good

well, the headblade has a handle, which is a plus and at least with the older headblade models they have blade selection choices - I'm not sure if that latter holds true with newer model headblades though.

the omnishaver is pretty good if you don't have sensitive skin and can withstand a 5 blade razor head going in both WTG & ATG directions. It's a little too aggressive for my dome. the lack of a handle or strap of some sort kind of sucks, too..

this really is a brilliant head shaver, highly recommend it, easy to use and has to be the fastest head shaver I've ever used
