Oliblade really impressed me, very smooth at lower settings. The smooth bar was noticeably better on my neck, while the scalloped was great on my cheeks and mustache area. I like the feel, grip is outstanding and tolerances are top notch. With my favorite blade, a PolSilver - 3 outstanding passes. Didn’t expect much, but must admit once Mike, Wally and Dave gave the seal of approval, I was all in. Thank you Gents!
I've been using my OliBlade daily for several weeks. As others have said, it's a terrific razor. Smooth and mild feeling at even the highest setting. I've settled on setting 5 for most of my shave, but turn to setting 2 for shaving my upper lip ATG. I'm finding that with the OliBlade, I'm consistently getting a close, Damn Comfortable Shave. I believe these shaves are longer lasting than many with other razors.
Is it as good as the Taiga? I'd have to do a good bit more shave science to answer that question, but even considering the question is a high compliment to the OliBlade.
Happy shaves,
Jim

That is a stunning color combination. I really don't like the idea of an aluminum razor, but the ability to CNC machine them and anodize the parts in colors is a plus.

Pardom me thought the OilWorks was Stainless, NOT ALUMIUM.
