Greetings, DFS!

My name is Bryan and I hail from Fayetteville, GA. I've been wet shaving for a little over six months. Picked up a VDH TTO on clearance for $5 at Kroger and then quickly on to a Merkur 34C. Started visiting local antique stores, scoring a handful of vintage DE razors at great prices. About three months ago, I stumbled upon a cased Stoll Chrome Steel lather catcher, my entry drug into the SE shaving world. Researching the SCS led me to your very own YouTube star, Dave in KY. Dave enabled me to join that specialized SE forum and today he enabled me to join DFS. Dave is a Master Enabler and I mean that in the best way! Over the past two months, I've shaved every day minus one. Once I realized how much I enjoy this hobby it became apparent that the only way to get better is to shave more. I have enjoyed commenting about my experiences on daily SotD posts and intend to start a journal. However, I have no intentions on videoing my shaves, after all, look at my avatar...I'm a Marmot! Big Grin Thank you for allowing me to join your community!

Howdy, Bryan!
I must confess that I had to look up "FNG". I sensed somehow that it did not stand for "Fortified Natural Gas", although that does roll off the tongue nicely, don't it?

But pix are okay, right? (Assuming your stubby little marmot paws can work the shutter. Big Grin )

I'm NO star on YouTube. Just document some gear. Too many others do it better. All that aside, it's great having you here too Bryan. I think you will not only enjoy it greatly but your Journal posts will be insightful and helpful to others as you continue your shave journey. Welcome aboard !!
