This is very cool, making feel like a kid again, seeing all those stamps that aren't from around here!!

Many thanks to Nikolay Novikov for the careful packaging and for allowing me to have this stunning TiBam titanium handle.

(This post was last modified: 10-13-2021, 04:41 AM by MaineYooper. Edit Reason: Correction to razor )
Dave in KY a while back lent me some GEM razors, as well as a Sabre. I fell for the Sabre and procured one as soon as possible. And injectors.

Well, this showed up on the Bay, and my notes regarding the one Dave lent me convinced me that $5 plus shipping was worth it.

Edit: Oops, my mistake. Dave lent me a Clog Pruf, which is still in bound. This caught my eye and the auction ended sooner than the Clog Pruf.

This is similar to the Clog Pruf Dave in KY lent me last winter. Now that I have used the Sabre and the Contour, I am more comfortable with the GEM razor and its big head! This one needs a little cleaning and a Barbicide dip before its debut in rotation! But I am happy to have found a clean one! Some razors are really crud caked. And some of those are pricey! But this little gem was in better shape, and priced reasonably for my comfort level.

It's raining Gems here at the MaineYooper homestead! I believe this is a 1912 model.

But truth be told, I bought it for the cool looking handled!  Cool

Monday after appointments will see me cleaning up this razor as well as the Clog Pruf.  And doing some reading online regarding these latest vintage additions.
