I will agree on that. It's a toss up between that and Southern Oud and both will make a perfect follow up splash. I have both but my nose gave the edge to Southern Oud.

Right of I found the scent very familiar. At first I though Queen Charlotte Soaps but I pinned it down to CCFM Southern Oud. Find it to be almost a dead ringer. Works for me since I enjoy the scent and was my follow up splash of choice.

Consistency I would say is right there with Strop Shoppe or Mystic Waters. It was very easy to lather and easily produced plenty of that for my 3 pass shave. If your wondering, I used my Wolfman SB with a Gillette Silver Blue blade. There was plenty of cushion but I felt the soap lacked in slickness like I get with MW or SV Soaps. Post shave was average for me and not drying.

All in all its a nice soap but I personally do not find it worth its price point. I have plenty that, for me, are just better performers all around and cost less than half what they want for the Nuavia. Again, this is just my humble opinion and one should always judge for themselves. I feel technique wise I've done this long enough now that it's not one I would have to tinker with to dial in. Seems pretty user friendly and straight forward if that makes any sense to you with soap.

Thank you Andrew for allowing me a chance to try it. It is very much appreciated! No need for a 2nd go or anything so I will contact next on the list and have this in the mail tomorrow!

no problem!

Noice, sounds like I need to try RR Stallion. I prefer the Rossa more than the Blu. More Oud-y.

I received the soap Friday after work and I love the scent! I shaved with it this morning, 3 passes with my Gem 1912/Gem ptfe ( 4 ). I found it very easy to lather, good cushion and slickness. The only downside is that I already have too many soaps and I can't justify the price tag. Blush I plan to shave with it twice more (Sun. and Mon.) and get it mailed out Tuesday after work. Thanks again Andrew for the opportunity to try this soap!

Yes. Please add me to the tour. I want to do a head to head review against MdC. I'm in North Texas.

Thanks for the opportunity.

The soap should have reached Greg last Friday, hopefully he'll chime in and let us know how he likes it.
