I found a vintage Rooney boar bristle that arrived the other day, and this morning a flea market find Valet Auto Strop.
Rooney looks unused, no splaying on the tips. Not sure what to do lol. Not a big boar fan, but hey, it's a Rooney!

Got some things in. 2 were GENEROUS pifs from friends and 1 was a soap trade. One Blade Core from jluc who saw me enter a pif and messaged me that he had me covered, Thanks Jim ! A brush with a Zenith boar Knot from jtspartan who humbly described this beauty as just something that fell off the Lathe, Thanks Jason !

Received this special request Ever-Ready 150 with a new 24mm Oumo boar knot. Got it on the 'Bay from timotabern, a seller who does a LOT of brush rehabs. This is my first purchase from him.

Already set it to soak in the fridge for the next 12-24 hours, then it's break-in time.

Very excited about this one, it looks great. There's a little crack along the base of the handle but it seems quite shallow and would have to grow about 3" to do anything. Highly unlikely.

Pictures are horrible, as my bathroom is dark and my camera isn't good enough to make up for it. I'll get some during the day when it's more broken in.[Image: c335741f288f093652331f034dd7aad4.jpg]
