Just arrived! !

A Triad Red Bronze Aristocrat (87mm/12mm/73g) and a Stork Titanium Aristocrat 2 (80mm/13mm/38g).

Well, look what the postman brought me today Looks great and smells awesome!!

I wasn't expecting to find one of these rare razors, much less in the wild, neither was I looking for one, but... Thanks to a tip from a friend, I was able to locate a Personna Precision Micromatic Adjustable safety razor in mint condition here in Portugal.

Basically the same design than the Gibbs Règlable, but unlike the Gibbs, this one can be loaded with common DE blades, without the need to modify the blades.

I wonder if its zamak or brass plated?

No, not zamak.

These Personna adjustables (just like its close French cousin, the Gibbs Réglable #17) are made of plated brass.

There is also the Gibbs Réglable #15 - a lighter version of the #17, made in aluminium.

The difference between the Gibbs #17 and the Personna Micromatic is that the later can be loaded with common DE blades, withou the need of any modificatio.
The Gibbs models used proprietary blades - however, you can easily overcome this. It is possible to modify a common DE blade easily in order to fit in a Gibbs razor.

Today I got some vintage Houbigant Sportsman aftershave. To my nose it is an oriental chypre, with a slight lime tone. My luck with such relatively complex fragrances has been mixed, so we'll have to see how it wears.
