Finally got my Vie Long horse hair brush from Gifts & Care. Ordered October 22 and it arrived yesterday, November 8. Man this thing is funkdafied! It smells like moth balls mixed with some other nastiness. I tried defunking it last night and used it this morning. It's gonna take a while to get rid of it all I think. G&C was nice enough to include a free tube of TOBS Sandalwood cream with it. Probably not something I'll use a whole lot, but still cool nonetheless.

Ha! I placed an order from Gifts & Care on October 20th, and still haven’t received it, but then again, you are a little closer to them than I am at the moment.

And also, I ordered an Epsilon horse hair shaving brush from them. Nice to hear my place will (hopefully soon) smell like a stable. Smile

Matsilainen, good luck with the horse brush. They are stinky!

What was weird about the shipping on my order was that it went to Chicago first which is obviously further west than where I am in Detroit. Hopefully yours doesn't go to LA before getting to you!

Thanks! I have some vinegar, clarifying shampoo and strongly scented shaving soap at the ready.

I, too, hope the shipment isn’t somewhere in la-la-land … every day I visit the mailbox instilled with new hope.  Confused

Paladin Brush from recent release.  Chief handle Disco color, 47mm effective loft.  Poor photos, looks and feels better in person.
