Too mild for regular use, and I'm still partial to the shorter handles. That could be changing though, at least for my head shaves. I just started laser treatments on my head. I'm trying to eliminate my folliculitis issues for good. At a minimum, it should thin my hair quite a bit, so I may be shifting to milder razors on my head in a few months. That's interesting, I also heard that the Black Beauty is more aggressive when open wide vs the Slim wide open, are you comparing the BB vs your Slims or vs Merkurs adjustables?
Like I said before when I opened up my Slim and loaded the blade I looked at the gap on 9 and I was like this will be medium in aggressiveness... then I placed against the skin on my face and yup I was right it was medium alike aggressive, but when I shaved with it I noticed its very efficient and that why I end up keeping it.
Now since I heard that the BB is more aggressive than the Slim I actually considered to add one down the road either NOS or in great condition at a good price, but now that you say it might be milder than the Slim I might just not even bother getting one
