Non Vacuum razor??

Saw this at the antique store today... Not sure what the holes and grooves are for... No name on the razor... Kinda looks cool!

Never seen one like that before. I would guess the holes and grovves were a marketing gimmick. I would say it's worth picking up for its uniqueness if nothing else. Looks like it has some wear and a bit of a frown, but it would probably clean up okay.

Velocity holes. Allows lower air resistance so you can shave faster.

Sorry - couldn't help it. Neat razor probably worth getting just because it is different.

Well, either a guard attaches to those holes and lines up with those grooves, or as the brand suggests, it's supposed to eliminate any "vacuum" effect that quite frankly, doesn't exactly exist.

Well, crap, it has a patent number on it! Look up the patent number to see what it's all about. I can't make it out from the photo.

Pretty interesting! I think it's weird that the patent was filed in 1959. Seems a little late to the game?
