So at the other end of the keeper scale...

Most efficient and comfortable for me? Gillette New Long Comb. I can always expect a clean and comfortable shave with any of the three I own. But darned if I didn't make shaving a hobby so all the razors I own get their turn and all will shave close if I abide by their wants. That said, I have an old Gem Micromatic that shaves scary close but flub up once and it'll have me hunting a styptic pencil. (Haven't flubbed up yet).

I have a few very efficient razors but I can't shave with them daily...Blackbird SB, Timeless 0.95 SB, & the Rex Ambassador (settings 4.5 through 6).

The GC 0.84 has already been mentioned and it is a great daily-shaver but for me, the Rockwell 6S (setting 4 with a Kai, Personna, or GSB) is the most efficient razor that I can use daily. It's ultra-smooth and provides the most comfortable BBS shave for me.
