Highly recommend the Ninja Creami NC300 Ice Cream maker...check it out if you haven't already.
I hear it's impossible to find one in the US right now. Made famous by TikTok.

Great for people who want to control the ingredients in their ice cream, has 7 settings ranging from ice
cream to sorbets, gelato and soft serve ice cream...and then some. Specially people with Keto, No-Dairy
kind of preferences...but works for anyone.

I use Keto friendly ingredients: almond milk, allulose, unprocessed cacao, whey protein etc

I've had razors double the cost that didn't give me half the pleasure.

My Vitamix will do what it does and more. And I don't have to prefreeze anything other than the ingredients. Ninja does make some pretty good products. I really like my coffee bar drip coffeemaker, and 6 in one multi-cooker.

Vitamix is possibly the best kitchen related purchase we’ve ever made. Had for going on 25 years. Worth every penny.

They are awesome. I just made some pizza dough in my 5300 on Sunday. It makes my morning smoothie too. Just so versatile, even grinds coffee

That thing is versatile, it's nice when products work that well.

Yeah Vita is great but its not sure if it's an ice cream maker in the true sense of the word...it's designed to do a LOT more.

The Ninja gizmo is designed to be a low-cost version of a Pacojet...a high-end machine that costs around 4 grand and is used in
restaurant kitchens for "pacotizing"—micro-pureeing ingredients with up to approx. 1 bars of air pressure, to create ultra-fine
and airy textures.

Different technology altogether...but as long as you enjoy the output...who cares.

But in a nutshell: with Vitamin first you blend your ingedients, then freeze.
With Ninja Creami, you freeze the blended ingredients first (for 24 hours)...then you pacotize it.

Yes the Vita MIx is definitely NOT an ice cream maker, But it will do it. I've had a VitaMix ever since my dad bought "my" first one at the NY Worlds Fair in the '60s. I won't be without one. I never though to use it for my keto ice cream, I always made sorbet with it before keto. But sure, it'll make ice cream that I can eat. Thanks for pulling my head out of my butt on that. It was a duhhhh! moment. So obvious and yet so invisible.

I really have no need or room for another appliance, but others will find the Ninja post of value.
