Omega has recently reformulated (for the 2nd time) and introduced their third version of their tub shave soap:

I have never used the original version, but I had used a tub of the 2nd version and it was outstanding. This however is better. Far better. Let me state up front that they have eliminated almost all the eucalyptus scent and that's alright with me. What they did was replace it with the most beautiful barbershop scent that smells just like a stronger version of English Erasmic shave cream. The soap is also far denser than before and lathers just as easily, but is better IMO.

Now before anyone thinks I am some FNG let it be known that I regularly use Mike's Soap, Strop Shoppe, Cold River, etc., as well as a host of other soaps. Does it make me an expert? No, but it gives me a yardstick to compare this to and to be frank this is just as good, smells better to my nose and is a Helluva lot cheaper at under $10.

To make sure you are buying the latest Version 3 of this look at the weight on the tub as it will be 5.58 oz. & not 5.50 as before. Wink

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

Sounds like its worth a shot for under $10!

On a side note.....I had no idea Omega made paint brushes too. Interesting!

That's good to know. Unfortunately the fragrance of Erasmic SC has turned out to be not my cup of tea.

That's too bad as to my nose it's the best 'barbershop' scent I know of. It pushes all my scent buttons. Smile

Maybe I'm missing something as I don't see hardly any information on the product at the linked site. Where are you getting your info from regarding the formulation? Also, when I look at retailers I see the product volume listed as either 5.2 or 5.28 oz, not 5.5/5.58.

Ok, so Connaught made the typo. 150g is not 5.5x ounces. Rather it's 5.28 or 5.29 ounces.
