New Wolfman 'Guerrilla' Razor?

Other than the weight, how did the smooth handle work for you? Any issues with slipperiness?

I've used the original handle a couple of times and there is nothing to be concerned about regarding it being slippery. I had zero issues.

Any issues with loading the blade? i just received mine and found it quite a challenge to load the blade.

Weirdly, the first time not at all. The second or third time I had to play with it a bit. It doesn't lock in quite as easily as the Wolfman. I find putting the blade on the round posts and then lining up the top cap and holding it in place while I tighten the handle works best.

I had better success buy laying the blade on the top cap and then placing the base plate on top before screwing in the handle.

Handle isn't slippery. Blade loading is different but works to hold it perfectly aligned. My Goodwill razor loads similarly

My earlier comment on the potentially slippery handle was conjecture and not pontification. My comment on emails was in reference to people using the Guerilla link to inquire once more about the hand finished units. What the hell, I added a Guerilla to my bucket list. I will then retire from the Looking Glass Field of Battle over Zamack , Unicorn products, Scalpers who will move on to PEZ collectables crushing little girl's college funds, MBAs offering improved sales models and have a beer and a hotdog with the Jabberwocky.

Well gentlemen, there are not enough "O"s in SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH to describe this razor.  This is my first "Wolfman " razor and I now know what all the fuss is about.  Unbelievably smooth and efficient.  I usually lean towards mild razors, so I was a little worried about the 0.69 blade gap as many have described the 0.61 WR 1 as aggressive.  You need not worry folks, you couldn't cut yourself with this razor if you tried.  In terms of comparisons, the razor that comes the closest in smoothness is the Timeless 0.68, but the Guerrilla is more efficient.  Nice weight and balance, no slippage issues with the handle, blade angle is easy to find.  What more can I say ... get on the purchase list as fast as you can.  Run, don't walk!

I would love to hear how it compares to the WR 1 in terms of aggressiveness.  Does the 0.61 WR 1 = the 0.69 Guerrilla?

I sent James an email this morning with my impressions of the Guerrilla razor. I also asked how it compares to the WR - 1. He stated that the 2 razors have different profiles and angles, but he believes that the Guerrilla is most similar to the 0.67 WR - 1. (That makes sense, I guess.)
