New user help

Hello—i recently joined DFS (Shavemyface and TSN were my previous haunts) and have been wetshaving since 2013 when I began with an Edwin Jagger DE89, Derby blades, Simpsons Harvard 1, and Mitchell’s Wool Fat. I see there are quite a few members I recognize from my earlier forum participation. 

I apologize if this post is in the wrong place, but I seem to have some trouble posting in the BST to initiate a purchase. I tried going straight to a PM but that didn’t work either. 

Do I need a certain post count first, perhaps? Any help to this DFS newbie would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to DFS, Yes you need to be a member for 14 days and have 10 contributing posts. Not a lot compared to some foums but helps with some difficulties we had in the past.

The BST rules of use are listed at the top of the BST page in a link. No problem with this post here but there is a help/question section at the top of the main page as well. You'll get the hang of things as you look around some and get familiar with the layout as all forums are a little different. Again, WELCOME !
