I currently own a stainless RR Stealth Slant and an iKon #102 and I love them both. So much so that I sold off my Baby Smooth and my Weber PH. The Stealth is a slight more aggressive than the #102 but still silky smooth. I use the Stealth more than the #102 mostly because my wife keeps taking my iKon due to its incredible smoothness. Also I just checked and the iKon #102 IS currently in stock on ikon's website. Hope this helps and happy shaving.
I am turning towards the Merkurs, especially after reading the complaints about ikon. Wish the RR Stealth was available.

Whats the difference between the ATT S1 & S2?
(11-04-2015, 08:08 PM)captain_hx Wrote: Whats the difference between the ATT S1 & S2?ATT's website chart on base plates should designate the slant base plate with solid bar (SB) as S1, and the slant base plate with open comb (OC) as S2 because elsewhere S1 and S2 are used but not properly associated with the description. It boils down to S1 = solid bar (SB) and S2 = open comb (OC).
Between the abbreviations, acronyms and proprietary trade talk, it's enough to keep you occupied for ages! Once you've invested the time necessary to become comfortable on a given website, you're likely to be pretty well hooked!

ATT adjusted the top cap so that there was even blade exposure both with the bar/comb and the cap.
Previously it had appeared uneven. I say appeared because it was only at the cap and not the cutting end; still caused concerns with some folks so Stan changed it. I believe they may be shipping both style caps though as they clear inventory.
