Interesting process. So that would mean that Timeless would first have to start with a polished titanium part and then spray the micro abrasive to get their finish. I wonder why they charge extra to get a polished titanium finish?

The polished finish that Matt starts with for the matte is no where near the polished finish he sells now. The new polished version I believe is a different grade of Titanium also as he mentioned once that the original just takes too many hours to polish up and be competitive with pricing.

Is there really much demand for matte titanium? I thought many people were clamoring for the polished finish for the Timeless Titanium razors, which originally only came in matte. For Timeless, polishing was the extra step. Yet it sounds like you are adding an extra step for a finishing that may not be desired by most. My opinion only. Maybe you have more data points.
