New Parker Adj. Injector!

**no, not really  =)  Love me some AC blade shaving.  If Parker make more of these injectors available soon, I'll likely pick one up. I have some injector blades to use.

Correct me please if wrong, but weren't there two different styles of Pal injectors one of which was a lemon and had a funky head angle if I recall?  


GB, I assume that you have shaved with other Schick injectors and hopefully with the M Model adjustable. If so, compare the shaving betwixt the two please.

Pal's original injector razor was the Pal injecto-matic. The adjustable was released later on.

A CCS just a few minute ago. Shaves similarly to the PAL just a bit more milder to my skin. Wide open and it’s not a face peeler just like the OG. It’s an everyday shaver that will give smooth and comfy shaves. If your expecting an efficient monster with a 2 pass routine, sorry you’re going to have to turn around and search elsewhere. I used the supplied blade that was already installed and it did an ok job. I also used the supplied shave cream sample of the Taconic Eucalyptus Mint and this stuff is pretty awesome with plenty of slickness, glide & protection. Hugely underrated shaving product that gets NO MENTION from anyone. I’d like to try the Parker with a Schick Proline-B and see what it can do which probably won’t be much. I’m hoping that MAYBE I can get a Schick Twin II blade in the Parker, just to see if it will take it as the Twin does not fit in the PAL. Anyhow, it was a decent shave that did exactly what it was designed to do. Give comfortable and acceptable shaves without thinking to much. Not a bad tool at all for anyone that wants to dip their toes into the world of injectors. Price is right too.....

Looking at it from that angle there is no reason why it shouldn't be able to take a twin blade. The only issue that could arise if it does is if the razor head when loaded doesn't allow for the blade to sit behind the stops.

Well, it came today and first shave in the books. I did however change out the OEM Personna blade for "Chick" blade before commencing and checked out the fit, etc. Soap used Viking brand from Ames, IA which is the biggest "sleeper" in all of shavedom IMO. 

I set it on "5" and had a perfect shave. This razor is IMHO a new & perfected Schick Model M version. It looks better, feels better & handles better as well. The one exception is that on "5" this razor is perhaps not quite as "aggressive" as the Schick on "7", but that is inconsequential unless you are looking for a hyper aggressive razor. For that you'd be better served with an old Schick E Model. I received a DFS in less than two passes (one WTG and an XTG touch up). 

This razor has impressed me in this day & age of ultra expensive artisan DE & AC razors. I had a friend who bought a Supply injector when they came out, but for me it was simply not ergonomic and far too heavy. This Parker is nestled right in the "Goldilocks" zone where weight & nimbleness meet. This is THE razor to convert your buddies from their cartridge razors!! A perfect daily driver injector razor!!

There are two G First Model types with varying aggression if I recall. I have an E2 and E3 with the latter a hair more aggressive to me. But, let's not go off into the weeds...

No weeds, you of all people shouldn't be so sensitive. There are so many variables in the injectors, I'm just trying to get an understanding of them. Seems even in a Letter category there are differences. Just looking for clarity. Moving along....

Just had a minute to open it and I too am surprised at how nice it is for the money. Very well made. Glad I didn't over pay for an M as I've been tempted to get one in the past.
