Some great brushes and handles here! ESBrushmaker which 2 band hair should one choose from if they are definitively looking for true gel tips and no scritch or scrub? Thanks

Our Select badger has very soft tips; but I shy away from the term "gel" because it's so subjective. What's gel to one person is not to another. Likewise, "scrub" is also subjective. Lee, for example, uses the terms "scrub" and "backbone" interchangeably. Certainly, our 2-band Select badger has very soft tips with little-to-no scritch.
Hope that helps.

I don't know why we didn't do this sooner; so as an added service, we are now shampooing all Morris and Forndran brushes shipped by us before they go out. Just as with our BSSW brushes that we've shampoo'd for years, shampooing cleans the knot, ridding it of much of the "badger funk" and starts the break-in process.
Here are two examples: a 24mm Emillion and a 26mm L7 currently in The ReadyMade Collection.
As you can see, the tips are already starting to "hook."

Gentlemen,
Things have been pretty busy here at the ShaveWorks Ranch! First of all, we received a shipment of large diameter Ebonite rods a few weeks ago and have been heads-down creating a slew of new Ebonite brushes. Those, together with several acrylic, and the last couple in the Oyster Kirinite that received so much attention when offered about two weeks ago. Adding to all that activity, yesterday we received a shipment of new brushes from Lee at Morris & Forndran. We shampoo'd those brushes earlier and they are drying as this is being written.
The plan is to first prepare and ship the bespoken Morris & Forndran brushes (which is only right.) But fear not! We plan to have 20+ new ReadyMade M&F and BSSW brushes (many with our new Estate Series badger) listed for your consideration by early next week.
Stay tuned....

Yes, it's at the bottom of this page in our website. Basically medium-firm to firm backbone with soft hooked tips. Preliminary feedback has been encouraging. We like it a lot and think it's a winner.
