New Declarations that I’m excited for

I just received thes 4 new Declaration Soaps in the mail and I’m excited for the opportunity to try all of them.  Does anyone have an opinion about any of these?

Mayflower is one of my all time favorite scents. I hope to never be without it. GLS is also a great scent. The Bison and Icarus bases, while very different from each other, are still among the best performing soaps out there.

Icarus is a wonderful base. If there's any initial funk just leave the soap uncapped for a few days. And don't be afraid to load the hell out of it.

If there is funk then check for black spots as my Icarus molded and had to be tossed. Yes, I left the lid off for 24 hrs. every time after using it. 

You should enjoy those soaps, if you're at all like me. Declaration's Milksteak base is all the rage right now, but in my opinion the bison base (your Gratiot League Square), his original base, is still my favorite. The Icarus and Milksteak bases are fine, but the original bison is amazing.

I love GLS. It is probably my favorite DG soap, and I’m burning through it. Looking forward to getting it in milksteak whenever I kill the tub. I have about 20% left in the tub (and maybe 90% in the AS).

You should be very happy with the soaps you have received provided you like the scents. Both the Bison base and the Icarus base hit all the metrics for quality when you use them. GLS is a collaboration with Chatillon Lux, a high level scent designer. Both the splash and toner for that scent are still available from Chatillon Lux--if you like that scent you might considering going to the CL website and ordering some (under "Provisions").
