A quick update for you guys--I got a BBS shave today with Core and a 3-shave-old (Feather) blade! It took a little tweaking of my technique from Genesis but it finally clicked into place today. I also tried the OB shave cream and aftershave: no scent to speak of but the performance was solid.
And I was in Austin today and went past the OneBlade shipper warehouse. They were workin' like mad. I took some video which I will post on Youtube soon.

Thanks so much, Mark mantic59 Can you say a bit more about your tweaking of technique?
I know in the video, you spoke about the balance point of the razor being different than the Genesis, but is there a difference in technique other than that? I know when I first got the OneBlade, I was using it like a regular DE, finding the angle, etc. but when I put the flat part of the head against my face and let the pivot do the rest, it was really like an 'automatic' shave. Same with the Core?

Similar but not the same IMO. Difficult to describe but it's definitely related to how the different center of gravity subtly effects the way the hand holds the razor. I'll pay more attention the next time I shave but I suspect that I'm holding it so the flat part of the head is juuuuust barely off the skin (vs. Genesis).
As promised, a brief video showing Core shipping out from the warehouse....

Low level fulfilment centre for such an advanced product. I guess you can't getting away without the human touch?

Thanks very much. I'll keep that in mind when the Core gets here tomorrow.
