They are making 250 razors

I thought 250 razors were reserved for Sharpologist and the link on his page.

Thanks Freddy. I don't think there is any dispute about a GEM blade working in a v1 OneBlade without cutting it down. I simply don't know about the v2 & thus this CORE razor regarding the GEM. For $50 I'm willing to satisfy my curiosity. I just wasn't going to spend $400 for a v2 to test. Sadly I had a couple people let me down when they said they would test the GEM in the v2 but then didn't.

Maybe you missed this post some time back

Thanks for the heads-up but I don't really spend time on that site.  Perhaps it was mentioned here, as well, and I just don't remember.  In any event, it does seem to add another piece to the pie. Thanks.

If you look further you'll see that I even replied to that gentleman. While I was excited to hear his feedback, it was still a single case from someone I wasn't familiar with. Regardless, I'm finally going to get a chance to see for myself without dropping $400. I'm happy about that.

You can go directly to their website and order that is how I found it before the Mantic post.

Why not. Ordered direct, worth a shot.

I just wonder how many of the 'professional'' white collar types they want to target have bought this razor. None of the downtown commuter Boston guys I know have ever even heard of it. They may need sales.

Looks good though.

That's exactly how I see it. It looks like those executive types that the brand targeted didn't really get the message and this is a good way to obtain some revenue. In fact, there's a good chance that they're perfectly happy with their multiblade cartridges and won't believe that a single blade $400 razor will shave any better. That said, most of the guys who have a OB swear by it, and I also will be willing to give this one a go, and find out myself.

Makes sense Ramon. I'm looking forward to the OB. I've heard they are not marketing the razor to the wet shaving crowd but rather execs with disposable incomes. They were at the Big Shave West so it's clear they are after us hobbyists.

For the non hobbyist executive it may be tough to attract their attention to wet shaving.
