So far, no shipping confirm.
With the current shipping times, I hope I live long enough to actually shave with an Era…
Has anyone’s Era shipped or arrived?
With all sincerity, I hope this razor doesn’t become Shane’s demise…

Worry not. We're shipping right on time!

This.  I got the email exactly 30 minutes ago - not the shipping email, but an email that said all orders would be shipped this week.

I didn't look to see when it was I got it, but got one as well. I imagine I'll be towards the end of the week since I preordered not too long ago, but no problem. Decided I would join. Sure has been quite the influx of new products coming out as of late!

My Era arrived today. Looks and feels great in the hand. Haven’t shaved with it but looks great.

Here’s a picture of the Level 5 plate and the blade exposure for those interested.

Had my first shave with the level 5 sb this morning and it went how I expected. Smooth and efficient enough for me to get the job done in 2 passes. I was really hoping that it would have the efficiency of a Vector and I think it’s pretty much spot on with that and the 7/10 grade that Shane gave it. Blade feel was a weird thing for me though because it feels less to me than a Vector but it actually has more with the grading system on the Blackland website. As with everything in this hobby, YMMV. There was absolutely no chatter with this razor and the top cap really clamps down on the blade and keeps it rigid. That is one of my favorite things about it.

No issues with the manufacturing of the razor and the fit of all the pieces. Even the little rings on the handle only took a minute or two to put on. It really is amazing to look and hold the razor and realize it was 3D Printed. I had bought a level 4 sb plate to go with it but that will be too mild for me. I might trade it eventually for a level 5 OC but I’m happy with what I have. This is a really nice razor to add to the rotation.

Glad to hear it! Also, Vector blade feel is tough to evaluate due to all the AC blade choices that impact blade feel. So we call it a 5 because it’s really a range from ~3-7 depending on blade choice.

Is the washer on the baseplate meant to stay there was that used in shipping to prevent damage of a sort? I didn’t see mention of the underside washer. Figured I’d ask.
