I'm buying more blades.  I'm deciding between Nacet and Perma Sharp.  I use and like both very much, but can only get one of them.  If you've used both, which would you choose and why.  Also include average (I know everyone is different) number of shaves you get from them.  I appreciate your thoughts!

RayClem did a blade evaluation. Here is a link to his spreadsheet. This is his experience and should be used as a bit of a jumping point, but gives you an idea on sharpness and smoothness. You have to decide what you need based on your beard and skin.

As noted by metal_shavings, in my evaluation of various blades, the Nacet and Permasharp were essentially tied near the top of the list. The Permasharp blades were slightly sharper while the Nacets were slightly smoother. They are both excellent blades but you might have a preference depending upon your beard, your skin and the razor in which you intend to use them. For a less aggressive razor, the Permasharps might be better. For a more aggressive razor, you might prefer the Nacets.

If you really like these blades, you might want to stock up if you find them at a good price. The blades were made by PPI in Russia. These blades cannot be brought directly into NATO countries due to sanctions placed on Russia. However, items often come in through gray market channels.

I (over) stocked up on Perma-Sharps, but not on Nacets. It has been a while since I used either. Nacets were my fave overall, but it's been sometime and now I have discovered Wizamet, Bic Chrome Platinum, King C. Gillette among others. It all really is very personal. My beard is not as demanding as RayClem , so I have had success with mid-sharp blades whereas he doesn't. Evaluate what your needs are, what razors you are currently using along with the blades.
