Mystic Water Soap

I got mine last night and did my first shave with the Control Sample this morning. On to Sample A tomorrow morning.

I shaved with the Control Sample today too. I also did a test face lather with it first, then washed it off and loaded and lathered again. Tonight I will do a test lather with Sample A, then shave with it tomorrow. I think that is how I will do the rest of the samples, a test lather the night before and a share the next day.

That sounds like a good plan. Maybe I'll do a hand lather tonight just to test lather ability, slickness and cushion.

I might go ahead an palm test lather the others for now. I just don't want to face lather more than one sample per day so that I can gauge the post shave and residual slickness more accurately.

Hi guys! I received the samples yesterday and will shave with the Control today. I think it would be interesting to know how folks are doing this testing. Are you doing one shave each, or more than one, or some other combo? Score card or written notes, or memory? My plan was different soap each day, then I wondered if I should do the control in between, then back to different soap each day... analysis paralysis!!

So one soap, write my observations as soon as possible, and maybe repeat a sample if I feel the need. I think I detect sensations coming back, lol!

I may decide not to even use the control sample, to be honest, as I'm pretty well acquainted with Michelle's soaps.

This sounds like a very good plan as I am, also, quite familiar with the 'control' sample.

I have been testing the samples on my end but have to leave town for a week this Saturday so will be a little sidelined myself wrapping things up.
