Is this a new order? If so, how did you get whipped shea butter? Also, how is the Earth Rose scent?

1. Yes new/recent

2. I live in NJ, pretty close to Maryland, so Michelle agreed to ship it to me. I sent her an email.

3. Earth rose = rose sandalwood, I absolutely love the scent. More earthy than cologne like, I would say. Some might say this scent is somewhat feminine, but I don't agree with gender specific scent/color classification.

hope that helps.

Michelle makes some of the best smelling soaps I have had the pleasure of using. I would place several of them in the “legendary” category. (Yes, I just made that category up, but I still mean it.)

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Hi guys! I've been quiet lately, but am definitely still around. In fact, I just spent a few days sprucing up and streamlining the website this weekend, and have much more to do on that front. I hope that it will be easier to read and navigate, and I'll try to pare it down some more and get new pictures. As always, your feedback is welcome and if you see any broken links or anything weird, please let me know!

I made a new shaving soap, Yellow Rose. Yellow roses have always been a favorite of mine - I had a huge pillar of climbing yellow roses growing in my garden in Sardinia, although I'm not having much luck with roses here in Maryland (except the Knock-Out roses, which grow like weeds...) Roses are related botanically to apples and other fruits, and the yellow roses are often described as having fruity and tea notes. So, if you like rose scented soaps, now there's Sandalwood Rose, Rosalimone (rose with lemon) and this new one, all very different.

I will be making more shea butter this week (the only one I'm actually out of is the large size Lavender), and I apologize for not updating the website sooner - January is hibernation time but now I'm back! This is a good time to mail melty things.
