I have a few modern razors, and many many vintage Gillette. You'll find your $ will stretch further with vintage.
Of course bottom dial Fatboys and other vintage Gillette can go quite high... however there are many sub $50 razors to be found in mint condition. Personally, I prefer them to anything modern. I do love my $300 tech,  er, Feather though Smile

I don't like vintage razor's. I prefer stainless steel, brass (bronze). They are more durable and more precisely manufactured. And everything that I have shaves me very well. I am very satisfied . And I do not buy in order to later sell more expensive , but for my own pleasure .

Nice collection, and the good thing was that you said that you have budget constraints, imagine if that wasn't the case, wooheee!!!!

I do have budget constraints as well, but the thing that makes stay away from the buy button is my limited space, so I keep close to my couple dozen soaps, half a dozen brushes and 30 something razors( I guess?).

At least razors don't take up much space stored on my cigar boxes, I wished
