That Karve is badass man! Really like it. How does one carve brass by hand out of curiosity?

Nice work, indeed.

I know I've seen your work on another forum.

Didn't they vanish your posts over there because you were trying to promote your upcoming business, Razors1920 or something like that? I was online and thought about sending you a message that I was interested. Then I thought what the heck. :O
Don't get me wrong, but we appreciate honesty here. If you want to promote your business, no problem. But if we all of a sudden see a brand under that name or another and you start selling that does not sound like honesty. Of course, you could change your mind, but there were already posts referring to a business model.

There are people interested in your work, but being honest is important to most. Wink

Please do state what is making you think that I might be dishonest ( which actually is kinda of a serious accusation ) .
Currently I do not own or have a business of any sort .And If ( -IF - ) in the near or distant future i will decide to start one ,
what exactly is the thing that is making me act without honesty ?

Seriously ,I really do not understand where is my fault or how exactly I'm being dishonest .
At the very start of this thread I've already placed a disclaimer .
I'm not selling any of them .
All of what you see here is just some DIY ideas.

And if I will start selling ( from a web shop ) ,that makes me a dishonest person ?
In what way ?
I really don't get it .

On the other forum ,as you state ,they thought that I had already a business running ,which actually is far from truth .
I've tried to explain that to them ,but they did not care that much for any explanation .
Their main issue was that I had to pay a fee as a vendor .
But that I'm not .

Please do find the time to explain to me ,what you think that  I'm doing wrong .
And how exactly I'm being dishonest .

For real?

You upload photos on every forum about your work with multiple info.
You have uploaded photos with your brand logo and name which refers to a British TV show.
They vanished your posts because you said you were going to start a business soon and that name and more info would be provided shortly. This IS promo. I bet they told you to pay a fee to continue promoting your business, but you refused. Running a forum costs money. If you gain money thanks to a forum that gives you a space to promote and/or sell, it's no big deal to pay a standard fee.

Etc.

Am I wrong? I'm honest with you, I expect the same from you.

This is promo man. You are trying to make your work famous that way. And that's good for you. All I asked is to be honest. Your initial statement sounds like "hey, my posts on the other forum were taken down, 'cause I said I'd start a business, but now I'm more cautious, 'cause I don't wanna pay any fee as a vendor now or in the future".

"  I bet they told you to pay a fee to continue promoting your business, but you refused "

Not exactly like that ,but close .
Still ,to promote a business, there has to be one .
If I do not have a business running whatsoever ,how I can be promoting it ?

Look ,I'm a machinist .
I've made some handles and razor holders for myself and I've indeed showed my work on couple of fora ,including this one .
At a point ,I was encouraged -to say the least - by many forum members that I should start a business and actually start selling my creations.
Even today ,as we speak ,I haven't actually  made a certain decision if I will do it or not.

Now ,how 's that "promoting " ?
Posting pics of DIY artistic creations is "promoting " a business  ( ...that actually it does not even exist ! ) ?

Placing a logo on my avatar or at my pics ,is all what takes for me to be considered that I'm running a business ?
Really ?

I'm being honest enough ,when I 've stated that I'm the maker and that I may be starting a business in the near or distant future .

When and IF such thing  will happen ,I will gladly pay fees to a forum .
But for a forum moderator  to be deleting posts based on the possibility -probability of a future business ,is something beyond my understanding .

To promote something ,it has to be a finished and ready to be marketed product .
To promote a business ,there has to be a business first place  .
Otherwise it remains just an idea or a DIY creation  .

Right ?
