Music or ? What did you listen to when shaving today?

I’ve taken to listening to a podcast during my morning shave, most all of the time it’s The Daily.

I should try that. I've heard others mention podcasts in the past, but I just as quickly forget it. Definitely a useful time to get a shave AND some news, etc. Thanks!

Yea, we haven't seen him in a while. I know he is one to pop out for an extended time... I think he has a full plate with work, including a lot of travel?

Let's hope it's merely along the same lines... A lot going on with work and life, but nothing bad.

Podcasts ill advised if possessing critical mind and willingness to entertain contrary opinions. Can create stress leading to less than ideal results, particularly when straight shaving.

Tonight was Charlie Parker.

I listened to Rimsky-Korsakov's 'Scheherazade' on public radio this morning, and it brought back great memories of playing it in my college orchestra.

This morning during my shave I heard a 2007 composition for oboe and piano, Four Personalities. By Alyssa Morris, it was inspired by the Hartman personality test that psychologists use, and I liked parts of it quite a lot. It was performed by oboist Laura Medisky. Rarely do I hear any really modern oboe music. (And back when I played oboe, it was often said that you either were crazy to start playing the instrument, or playing it drove you crazy...)

Music helps to drown out thoughts and lets me remain in the moment. I listened to Jamie Lin Wilson this morning, what a great voice!

Mozart's Divertimento in D major, K. 131, according some sources supposedly written when he was just 16 years old. Incredible.
