For the past couple of nights it has been the "Indie" playlist from the "CBC Listen" app.

They sound pretty good, but it's the sort of thing I'd prefer to hear live in a small venue.

And that brings to mind the line from Star Trek: Beyond, where Jaylah is found listening to "classical music" - Beastie Boys - and she says "I like the beats and the shouting."

But I had to turn it off when I heard The Little Drummer Boy, because it brought back a memory of sitting on one of those lousy plastic molded chairs all night on Christmas Eve in the Atlanta airport many years ago, when I was on my marathon medical school admissions interview trip, stuck there because of weather delays. I heard the song 26 times that night over the airport music speakers.
I have similar feelings about Pachelbel's Canon in D (ever since the '80s) because it was on a continuous loop at my oral surgeon's office, for several appointments.
On the positive side, he had very attractive assistants.

Early '70s, yes. Led Zeppelin, duh!
Late '70s, mostly no, except for New Wave and Punk.
The '80s were the necessary Cleansing of the Horror That Was Disco.

Except for the "Staying Alive" single. That's the only Disco track worth listening to.
It also is said to have the best tempo for doing CPR compressions.

My neighbours are NOT happy with me after this one.  I don’t know, this just empowers me...

That's an awesome choice!

You must be playing it pretty loud to upset the neighbors. You definitely won't be hearing the blade cut in your shave.

Lol, forward to 1:35 through 2:30, pretty powerful stuff.  I’ve got a decent Martin Logan setup so my sounds are crisp and can travel a short distance lol.
