I tend to like the coins on the bottom of the brushes myself.

For those who have tried multiple ZT2 knots over a period of time has ZT2 been consistent through the batch? The one I purchased early on is one of my favorite knots. I’d like to duplicate that in another handle I have if possible before the batch is finished. Thanks

Mine are pretty comparable. It’s not wildly different.

I have 2 ZT2s. Both are outstanding. Consistent enough that I'm going to knot another Mozingo handle I have been waiting on good hair for.

A little love for the ZT1 today...Sailor turned up to 10 for a 1.5 pass BBS that will likely still be clean for church tomorrow.

I got my brush back that I sent to mozingo. First of all I have to say I am impressed that after he received it he had it shipped out heading back to me in a week, that is fast. Now for my first impression, I have only used it once but it was pretty awesome.  It is very densely packed and has very soft tips.  It  definitely gels up first thing.  I do love gel tips. It is more dense than my DG b9b I just got a month ago. I am very happy I got this knot, but I will admit it's hard for me to spend that much for a knot. I will be using again in the morning.

Thanks James, it is a Tony Forsyth handle I got and removed the old knot. It looks even better in person. One of the coolest handles I have ever seen in person.

Got a ZT2 because of all you enablers here Smile
I couldn't be happier with it! Someone had described the black eagle brushes feeling like a wall of badger and that's exactly how I would describe the ZT2. I do like it more than the B8's I had. Feels denser on my face and just feels better overall, hard to explain.
Had the knot mounted on a ThatDarnRob Aluminite Pueblo handle. I couldn't be happier with the handle as well, Rob does amazing work.
Thanks for the recommendation guys.
