Thank you so much for starting the thread Bouki Bouki!  My personal and professional lives have definitely had me on the ropes since early September.  I tried to get my stats in order before I left last weekend for a quick vacation but I just didn’t have the time.  So, thank you again my friend!

As for wet-shaving in 2024, the following took honors:

Brush:  This one was no surprise as the AP ShaveCo with 30mm Cashmere has become my go-to brush.  It was used 51.09% of the time.

Soap Brand:  Again, no surprise here.  For whatever reason, I got on a Stirling kick this past year and used it 19.40% of my shaves.

Soap Scent:  Stirling Gatlinburg – only used it 10 times or 2.73% of the shaves but when you’ve hoarded soaps over the past 8 years, I guess 10 is an acceptable amount

Aftershave Brand:  Well, a Stirling Soap deserves a Stirling AS, right?  Stirling accounted fo r15.30% of the shaves.  Chatillon Lux came in 2nd with 13.11% of the shaves.

Aftershave Scent:  Black Tie Razor Co Sandalwood – used this 4.10% of the time but it was my travel splash for awhile so it wasn’t a surprise.  The highest percentage of a non-travel splash was Wholly Kaw Fern Concerto which I used often as I was trying to finish off

Razor:  Stainless Steel Overlander – for the 1st time, a razor overtook the Rockwell 6S as the most used razor!  This razor is also my biggest discovery of the year.  It’s such a smooth, efficient and mild razor that I can shave daily with no irritation.  This razor ended up with 49.18% of the shaves.  And the amount would have been higher but I felt bad for not using my 6S the past couple of months, I started using it more often.  Despite the increased usage, the 6S was used 13.11% of the time.

Goals from last year:  The goal was to cut down on the No Shave days.  And up until early September, I had done a very commendable job.  Overall, there were 60 No Shave days and 39 of them occurred after 9/1/2024.

Goals for this year:  I have really settled in on razor/blade/brush/splashes.  And because of that, I think it’s time to unload a lot of things that aren’t used often.  I’m sure I’ll sell off/give away some soaps as well.  I think the main goal will be to clear out approximately 1/3 of the den
