Mongoose B2

I never tried the OneBlade, but I see Maggards and Connaught shaving carries the blades for it.

Good lord, I just ordered an alumigoose from Maggard.  What have you people done to me?

Gavo, it seems Connaught is not allowed to ship Feather blades outside of the UK, so that could pose a problem when ordering from them — depending on where you live, of course.

Wingdo — the inherent dangers of spending time on DFS! I hope you will enjoy the AlumiGoose! Being so light, it’s a whole different type of razor, but I’m really happy to have one.

For those with both the OneBlade and the Mongoose, which do you prefer? I have a OneBlade coming in the mail soon and I will try it for the first time on Wednesday.

Wow...tough one that I will answer in this way. I love them both for different reason, and both are guarnteed to give an excellent shave. This is a mood thing as to which is better, so for all intensive purposes they are equal (the Alumigoose and the Oneblade). All I can say is get both.

Do you prefer the alumigoose to the B2 with a light handle?

My preference is the Alumigoose over the stainless steel version. I just drag it across my face and get a BBS shave, little to no effort just like the Oneblade.

I really thought I was going to resist ordering, too. There I go thinking!

I just received a "short" Jürgen Hempel Ti handle and OMG what a great combo between the B2 SS goose and that handle. Balance is perfect and a super smooth shave. Best I have had with either Goose.
