I buy them on eBay. These came from a different seller because they were slightly cheaper, but they are more dried up and less flavorful, so next time I'll go back to my usual seller there, sergfernn (Fernandez Dates). He always sends really good dates.

I repack them in approximately one-pound amounts (26-28 dates) in zip-lock sandwich bags and store them in the freezer. Then I keep bag of them available unfrozen in the refrigerator door for regular consumption. When I put the last frozen bag in the door to thaw, I know it's time to order more.
