The most expensive acquisition this month. Big Grin Took nearly as long as a Romera brush.

Nice acquisition! I hope it’s slick, with sufficient cushion. It looks like there will be plenty of glide, and the post-drive feel should be quite amazing. Smile

Guessing the added performance will shave off a few minutes on your commutes.

Very smooth driver. Being a 4 cylinder it doesn't have a lot of power but it is very quiet and I forget which gear I'm in sometimes.

I recently received two of Doug Korn's new creations: a gigantically luxurious Stubby-Chubby (SC35) with a 35mm Virginia Sheng's knot and my most colorful D7 with a 27mm Romera knot. after intensive de-funking the SC35 became my most favorite brush - the badger is absolutely soft without any scritch or scrab. Additionally the knot keeps its shape without splaying too much, so its "face-print" is as small as any of my 26mm-28mm, which makes this brush exceptionally comfortable. The D7 handle is as ergonomic and beautiful as any of my brushes from the "7" family. The 27mm Romera knot happened to have ultimately gel-like tips and is a treat to use. Though it takes much longer to dry. All in all I am very happy with my new acquisitions. Thank you Doug!

I can't wait to see the VS knot after it is broken in! It will be a monster knot without a doubt! Beautiful.
I love her knots and have a 30mm set at 55mm that will always be in my den.

I asked Doug to set the VS knot at at 56mm loft, so what you see on my photos is already a somewhat bloomed knot after a few lathers. I anticipate it will become slightly bigger, but not by much. and it feels sooooooo good!

My AoS Rose Absolute shaving cream arrived. It smells quite good. I'm going to combine it with a really old Williams Rose shaving soap to make superlather.
