I had been reading about JabonMan Eufros all over the forums so I decided to place an order. I tried the Dama De Noche tonight (see my SOTD) and I was impressed. The slickness is superb and the soap pampered my skin; the after shave balm went on and then it absorbed quickly so there wasn't the weird greasy feeling that you get with some after shave balms. It had a touch of menthol but not too much; I really like it. The only thing I thought was too much was the scent strength; it's like a 10 out of 10; it is very strong. The Dama De Noche smells like a bouquet of flowers, very pleasant and very strong.

Not shaving related, but good mail nonetheless: Medjool dates to have with cashews for an evening snack.

You do realize that picture, including the cashews, is cruel and unusual punishment.  I'm just having store bought sugar cookies for dessert tonight and that is simply not fair! Sad

It's true that life is just not fair sometimes. I can have the dates and unsalted cashews only because they fit into my low-sodium, low-cholesterol diet these days.

Funny you should mention unsalted because, in most cases, I prefer unsalted nuts.  I also like many of them raw, cashews and pistachios being two.

I bid on this one on a whim.  I had a hunch that it was NOS or close to it.  I was the only bidder.  $19.99USD shipped.  The most I've paid for a Gillette Tech, but this is about the nicest Tech I have to date. It doesn't look like it has been used before.

Would like to know this as well. I wanted to pick up a tub but after reading the scent profile I'm wondering if the scent is very close to Reef Points Submariner, Route 66 Bourbon Jungle, and WSP Mahogany which are all extremely similar.

Just remembered that there is at least one description of the scent, from the maker himself, here: https://damnfineshave.com/thread-whollyk...#pid124211

But yes, hughmonstah, it would be nice to hear your personal impression, if you have a chance. And of course anyone else’s who has used the soap.

Ah sorry, haven't been on lately so don't know if this is still relevant. I'm not very good at describing/picking out scents, but I definitely get some amber and sandalwood from it. It's a very clean, inoffensive scent and although it's not my favorite, the performance is the best I've experienced so far. I think it smells pretty similar to Barrister's Reserve Spice/Classic or Chatillon Lux Unconditional Surrender (less so than the BR stuff).

Hey thanks for the reply! I happened to buy the soap so I know what it smells like now, lol. I think it smells awesome and I'm with you on the performance, amazing! I'm going to pick up the matching aftershave eventually.
